District Council President Smt. Pushpa Devi, Nawada City Council President Smt. Pinky Kumari and Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Deepak Kumar Mishra jointly inaugurated the competition by lighting the lamp and flying a balloon.
According to the pre-determined schedule, sports competitions in athletics, handball, wrestling (boys), chess and badminton were organized. In which thousands of boys and girls from different blocks of the district who came to take the competition department participated in the sports competition being held at the historic Harishchandra Stadium.

Among the officials present in the sports program were District Transport Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer Nawada Sadar, Sub-Divisional Officer Rajauli, District Land Acquisition Officer Nawada, Land Reforms Deputy Collector Nawada Sadar, Amu Amla Senior Deputy Collector Nawada, Shri Vikas Kumar Pandey Senior Deputy Collector Nawada, Prashant Ramania Senior Deputy Collector Nawada, Senior Officer Nawada, Assistant Director Social Security Cell, Arpana Jha encouraged all the players with their hands and gave the message to bring glory to Nawada at the state and national level.
In the said program, senior teachers who received the technical award from the President, Alakhdev Prasad, Shivkumar Prasad, Ramvilas Prasad, Jawahar Prasad, Shivnandan Prasad, Jitendra Prasad, Rajiv Ranjan, Subhash Prasad, Santosh Kumar Verma, Pankaj Kumar Nirala, Shyamsundar, Rajeev Nayan, Aman Kumar. Important roles were played by Shobha Pandey, Juhi Kumari Vikram Yadav, and national badminton player Gulshan Kumar.
